Pick Right Sports is a skill-based sports predicting website for specific sporting competitions where you need to demonstrate your sporting knowledge to be in with a chance of winning. It is not affiliated with any sporting organization.

In 2023 there will be two separate competitions run for the New South Wales GAA Championship and the Cork Club Hurling Championship. See the Pick Right Sports social media pages for further announcements.

For any competition you enter, you must simply predict who will win the game or if it will be a draw.
  • If you correctly pick a team to win you get 1 Point
  • If you correctly pick a match to be a draw you get 3 points
  • If you incorrectly predict a team to win or it to be a draw you get zero points.
The person with the most points at the end of the tournament is the winner.

Only for the first game of the game week you must predict the margin (score difference). The margins are used to separate everyone on equal points. The closer you are to picking the margin, the higher you will rank.
Your cumulative margin is used for the overall leaderboard. This means that if you are 5 off the margin for week 1 and 8 off for week 2 you are actually on 13 overall. If Player A is on 6 points for correct picks and have a margin of 13 and Player B is on 6 points with a margin of 18 then Player A is ahead on the leaderboard (as their predictions are closer to what happened).
Examples of the margin:
The margin is the score difference between each team.
If for example Team A beats Team B by 20 points to 15. The Margin is 5 for Team A.
Scenario 1: If you predicted Team A to win and to win by 8. You will get one point for a correct prediction and your margin will be (3) as you are 3 away from what happened,
Scenario 2: If you predicted Team A to win and to win by 1. You will get one point for a correct prediction and your margin will be (4),
Scenario 3: If you predicted a draw. You will get zero points for an incorrect prediction and your margin will be (5).
Scenario 4: If you predicted Team B to win and to win by 6. You will get zero points for an incorrect prediction and your margin will be (11).

No, you only predict the score difference for the first game of each game week. For all other games you just predict which team will win or whether it will be a draw.

For each fixture, the time by which you need to input your pick is displayed.
If there are 18 fixtures for game week 1 and 18 fixtures for game week 2 then you input all 18 picks for game week 1 before the game week 1 fixtures are locked. Once game week 1 is over you can then go in and input in all 18 predictions for game week 2 etc.

Yes, Cork and NSW are separate competitions so you will have pay to enter twice but they are also separate prize funds so double the chance!

Yes, within each competition they will be the option of creating a private mini league where you can invite your friends and club mates. If provided a code, you can enter your friends’ mini leagues.

No, you only have to pay once to enter the overall competition.

Each competition will display an overall leaderboard including correct picks by the week. The leaderboard will show your points total with your margin in brackets. For those with the same number of points, the lower the margin the higher they will be on the leaderboard.
All results will be updated at the end of the game week.

Click on whichever competition you want to enter in the competitions page. Payments will be made through the stripe payment platform.

If players are tied on equal points and an equal margin at the end of the competition it will work on a countback where both players are ranked on how they performed on the final round. If they are still tied, then it keeps going back a round to determine a winner. If two players have input identical predictions, then it will be declared a draw and if they are within the prizes then the prize will be split.
If a team forfeits a game, then that will be deemed a loss. If a game is delayed, then it can be moved to another game week. All decisions taken by Pick Right Sports in the running of the competition are final.
