Pick Right Sports is an Ireland-based platform offering skill-based sports forecasting competitions. By using this platform, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

2. Eligibility

  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Reside in a jurisdiction where skill-based competitions are legal.
  • Not access the platform from countries or regions where such competitions are restricted.
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements.
  • Only register and use one account per person.
  • Not use professional or insider information to gain an unfair advantage.
  • Comply with all local laws applicable to your participation.
  • Be able to access the platform with a compatible device and stable internet connection.
  • Be prepared to verify your identity if required (e.g., in the event of suspicious activity or to claim prizes).

Accounts found in breach of eligibility criteria may be suspended or terminated.

3. How It Works

Users may enter forecasting competitions by paying an entry fee or joining free-to-play competitions.

  • Points are awarded based on the accuracy of forecasts.
  • If applicable, prizes are distributed based on performance.
  • A platform fee may be deducted from paid entry pools.

Important: Pick Right Sports is not a gambling platform.

There are no betting odds, no wagers, and no games of chance. All competitions are based solely on skill and sports knowledge. The platform operates under MCC 5816, which classifies it as a digital skill-based service, not gambling.

4. Competition Rules & Prizes

  • Each competition’s rules and fixture list are published in advance.
  • Any prizes, if offered, will be clearly displayed before entry.
  • Rules cannot be changed once a competition starts.
  • If a competition is hosted on behalf of a club or third party, that organiser is solely responsible for providing prizes. Pick Right Sports is not liable for prize fulfilment in such cases.

5. Not Gambling – MCC 5816

  • Pick Right Sports is not a gambling service.
  • Competitions are based on skill, not chance.
  • We operate under MCC 5816, covering digital games of skill.
  • No bets or wagers are placed; prizes (if offered) are awarded based on forecasting accuracy.

6. Payments

  • Payments are processed securely through third-party providers.
  • Entry fees are non-refundable once the competition begins.
  • Prize payouts (if applicable) occur within a defined timeframe.

7. Taxes

Participants are responsible for reporting any winnings per applicable tax laws.

8. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Cheat, collude, or manipulate results.
  • Use bots, scripts, or automated tools.
  • Share your account or create multiple accounts.
  • Breach competition rules or harm platform integrity.

9. Scoring & Disputes

  • Results come from publicly available and verifiable sports data.
  • Scoring is determined by pre-published rules.
  • Pick Right Sports reserves final decision-making authority in all disputes.

10. GDPR & Data Protection

Pick Right Sports is fully compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

  • We only collect data necessary for account creation, payments, and participation.
  • Your data is not sold or shared without consent.
  • You have the right to access, correct, or delete your data.

11. Liability

Pick Right Sports is not liable for:

  • Errors in sports data or official results.
  • Technical outages or delays.
  • Mistakes made by users during entry.
  • Prizes not fulfilled by third-party organisers or clubs.

12. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or close accounts for:

  • Breaches of terms or rules.
  • Suspicious or fraudulent activity.
  • Legal or regulatory concerns.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform signifies your acceptance of the updated terms.

16. User Conduct and Responsibilities

  • Errors or omissions in content.
  • Delays or interruptions in service.
  • Actions of third parties including competition hosts or clubs.
